How many of you have been watching Big Wave Bootcamp on RTE 2 on Tuesday evenings? The series follows eight Irish teenagers as they pick up their surfboards and head for Hawaii, where they undergo a gruelling three week training course in the world's most extreme surf school, under the watchful eye of surfing legend Ken Bradshaw. Those who qualify will get the opportunity to tackle some of the planet's biggest waves. Local teenager Daniel McGlynn is among the surfers representing Ireland at this event.
